Eddie Kadi is a globally celebrated British-Congolese comedian, presenter and actor whose electrifying blend of comedy, music and culture has made him one of the UK’s most distinctive entertainment personalities. A trailblazer in British comedy, Eddie became the first Black British comedian to headline London’s O2 Arena and has since built an international following performing to audiences across the world.

Eddie’s global profile has seen him host the official red carpet shows for BET International and BET Africa in Los Angeles, as well as the main stage at Afro Nation festivals worldwide. He has hosted the prestigious MOBO Awards twice and has become a familiar face across television, appearing on Strictly Come Dancing (BBC), Blankety Blank (BBC), The National Comedy Awards (Channel 4), Don’t Hate the Playaz (ITV), Live at the Apollo (BBC), The Jonathan Ross Show (ITV), QI (BBC) and Guessable (Comedy Central), among many others. His screen credits also include the films Anuvahood and Sumotherhood.

Eddie’s presenting career has earned significant industry recognition. In 2023, he was nominated for the Royal Television Society Breakthrough Award for Sorry, I Didn’t Know, while also receiving a nomination for Best Breakthrough Presenter at the Edinburgh TV Awards. The RTS recognised him among the nominees for his work on the ITV series, while the Edinburgh TV Awards nominated him for Breakthrough Talent – Presenter.

Beyond comedy and television, Eddie is a major voice in music and African entertainment. He is the host of The Official Afrobeats Chart Show on BBC Radio 1Xtra and a Team Captain on ITV’s multi-award-winning entertainment format Sorry, I Didn’t Know. He has also hosted major industry events, including the RTS Craft & Design Awards, further establishing his reputation as a versatile and highly sought-after live and television presenter.

In 2023, Eddie joined the cast of Strictly Come Dancing, bringing his trademark charisma and infectious energy to the BBC’s flagship entertainment series. In 2025, he joined the cast of ITVs I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! and launched his hugely successful Let Me Land stand-up tour, which continued into 2026. The tour explored Eddie’s journey from Kinshasa to London, family, identity, culture and belonging through his trademark warmth and high-energy storytelling.

Eddie is also the host of Man Like You, his podcast with Mo Gilligan and Babatunde Aleshe, bringing together three of British comedy’s most recognisable voices.
