Guaranteed to lift the mood in any room, Gbemi is one of the most talked about t comedy names on the circuit. An exciting new voice, he’s known for his charismatic and playful approach to contentious topics. He regularly plays prestigious rooms such as Top Secret Comedy Club, The Comedy Store and Up The Creek.
A gifted and sought after writer, Gbemi is the series writer on Sky One’s Fantasy Football League starring Matt Lucas and is currently writing and performing on Andrew Mensah’s Stand up Walkabout for BUZZ 16.
He also wrote and starred in the award-winning F*ck My Life – Most Racist Uber Ride Ever, a short film based on real-life experience. The film, produced by Pulped Productions, won the prestigious Broadcast Digital Awards in 2020 for Best Short-Form Format. The piece was also nominated for a Webby Award for Comedy alongside videos from James Corden, Trevor Noah’s The Daily Show and The Simpsons.
An in demand performer, Gbemi as appeared as support artist for both Babatunde Aléshé’s sold-out national tour and the Mo Gilligan: The Black British Takeover Tour.
