Laura Lexx is a multi-award-winning comedian, writer, and actor, celebrated for her sharp wit, intelligent humour, and commanding stage presence. Widely recognised as one of the UK’s leading MCs and headliners, she is praised for her engaging delivery and quick-thinking audience interactions, amassing millions of online views.

Following her breakout performance on Live at The Apollo (BBC), Laura received widespread acclaim, leading to appearances on major programmes including Mock the Week (BBC), Hypothetical (Dave), Roast Battle (Comedy Central), Pointless Celebrities (BBC), and Celebrity Mastermind (BBC).

Laura’s debut UK tour, Slinky, was a smash hit, winning Best Show at the 2024 Women in Comedy Festivaland earning a 4-star review in The Scotsman. In 2024, she took Slinky to sell-out audiences across the UK to widespread acclaim before touring it to the New Zealand International Comedy Festival, where she received double nominations for Best Show in Auckland and Wellington. She made her Southern Hemisphere TV debut on the prestigious Best Foods Comedy Gala and appeared as a panellist on 7 Days(Three) performing alongside New Zealand comedy favourites Jeremy Corbett and Ben Hurley.

In 2025, Laura took Slinky for a 10-night run at the Edinburgh Fringe, earning a nomination for Best Show at the Edinburgh ISH Awards and an invitation to debut in Australia in 2026. She performed Slinky at the Adelaide Fringe, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, and Brisbane Comedy Festival to rave reviews. Also appearing on the prestigious run of shows: Best of Edinburgh Fest, cementing her reputation as a standout female voice on international stages.

Laura boasts a series of highly-polished and critically acclaimed stand up shows on ITVX, is the published author of fan fiction Klopp Actually and Pivot her debut novel. Behind the scenes, she is a highly regarded writer, contributing to flagship UK comedy programmes such as: Have I Got News For You (BBC), The Now Show (BBC Radio 4), and The Really REALLY Rude Puppet Show (Dave).


In the podcasting space, Laura has developed and hosted multiple original formats. Her current project, Lexx Education, sees her attempting to revisit the school science curriculum with the guidance and frequent amusement of her scientist brother. She is also in development on the Comedy Bureau podcast with comedy historian Dr Oliver Double showcasing her deep knowledge and passion for the craft and history of comedy.
