Ajao
David Ajao is a hugely popular writer with particular specialisms in comedy, entertainment and British Theatre. Raised in Peckham of Nigerian descent, David has worked on several high profile shows including The British Fashion Awards, Brit Awards (ITV), Simon Cowell’s Walk the Line (ITV) and Jimmy Fallon’s That’s My Jam (BBC/NBC).
Other written projects include the prestigious Old Vic, New Voices, Romeo and Juliet (Unicorn Theatre), Primetime (Royal Court), Superjohn (Pleasance 2, Edinburgh Fringe), Otieno (Southwark Playhouse), Remix (Battersea Arts Centre), Gangs of Tooting Broadway (Film), Urban Mischief (Box Clever Theatre) and Duwayne (The Old Hove Market Brighton).
David is also the Deputy Artistic Director of Brixton based Box Clever Theatre Company.
