Kear
A talented writer, director, and comedian from Bristol who's carving out his own path in the entertainment world. Having already appeared in blockbuster movies including The Batman (2022), Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021) and Cruella (2021), Deadpool & Wolverine ( 2024) Bristol born Writer / Director and Comedian Ed Kear is one of the most celebrated breakout stars in comedy.
In 2022 he completed his West End debut as ‘Davey’ in the critically acclaimed Jez Butterworth play Jerusalem alongside Oscar winner Mark Rylance. On screen he has amassed millions of views with web series and comedy sketches and is also a regular on British television programs such as Ghosts (BBC).
In his latest BBC1 comedy Here We Go, Ed plays series regular Dean with the Third series greenlit for a 2025 release. This Year you will also catch Ed on The Stand Up Sketch Show (ITV) Plus, he's got big plans behind the camera too. Ed's gearing up to direct his first feature film that he wrote, collaborating with Gina Lyons at Gobby Girl Productions.
